At 36cm to 44cm limb circumference, size E sits around most knees and lower legs. This is a one-piece knitted elastic tubular bandage, cut to length from a 10 metre roll, that pulls over the limb for a snug, even hold. It's beige and reusable, and washes out to keep its stretch across a season.

A form bandage gives a limb a light, even layer of compression and holds a dressing or a cold pack against the skin without tape pulling on it. That is what club trainers keep it on the bench for: a quick, comfortable layer you cut to the length you need. Double it back on itself for a firmer hold, or run a single layer for something lighter.

Size is the whole game with a form bandage, so measure before you buy. Size E is the 36cm to 44cm circumference band, which puts it around most knees and lower legs. One box holds 10 metres, and you cut each piece to suit the limb.

Not sure which size to order? View the tubular form bandage measuring guide and match your limb circumference to the size before you buy.

Usage

Measure the circumference of the limb where you want to cover it and match it to the size before you buy, since a form bandage only works when the size fits the limb. Pull the tube over the limb so it sits smooth with no rucks. For a firmer hold, cut a longer piece and fold it back over itself for a double layer. Take it off if it feels tight, pins the skin, or leaves deep marks.

Care and storage

Hand wash and let it air dry. It holds its stretch across repeated use. Store it clean and dry in the kit.

Common questions

What does size E suit? Size E fits a limb circumference of 36cm to 44cm, which covers most knees and lower legs. Measure first, because the size has to match the limb.

How much do I get? One box holds 10 metres of bandage, which you cut into the lengths you need.

Can I reuse it? Yes. Hand wash it and let it air dry, and it keeps its stretch.

Clubs kitting a bench can order the sizes they need and call the Bendigo team to sort a spread across the squad. A form bandage gives light support and comfort, not treatment: if you're working around a fresh injury, get it looked at by a physio and use this as part of the plan, not instead of one.
