Strapping tape is the first thing a club trainer reaches for on game day. Straptor is Australian-owned, with rigid and elastic sports tape built to hold through a full match, with rigid tape that tears clean by hand when you're strapping on the sideline. The range covers rigid zinc oxide tape, elastic adhesive bandage, kinesiology tape, pre-wrap and the accessories that finish a strapping job.
The strapping tape range
Rigid tape is the workhorse. Zinc oxide adhesive on a cotton backing, it restricts joint movement and holds firm under load, which is why trainers and physios reach for it on ankles, knees and shoulders. Our rigid tape range tears clean by hand, and the hand-tearable tape is cut to tear without scissors.
Elastic adhesive bandage sits between rigid tape and kinesiology tape. It stretches and holds, which suits thumbs, wrists and fingers, or an outer layer over a rigid anchor. For elastic tape that stretches with the skin, kinesiology tape moves with the joint without locking it down.
Pre-wrap goes down first to protect skin and ease removal, and cohesive bandage grips itself for a compression wrap or to hold a cold pack. With cutters and adhesive spray, these sit in our strapping accessories, so a trainer kits a whole sideline from one order.
