Cold Application: For cold use, place the gel pack in the freezer for at least 2.5 hours or immerse in a mixture of heavily iced water until sufficiently cold. Once chilled, remove, dry off, and wrap in a towel or place in the provided cover.

Hot Application:

Microwave Method: Place the gel pack in a microwave-safe container filled with water. Heat on MEDIUM for up to 60 seconds. Check the temperature; if more heat is needed, continue to microwave at 15-second intervals on HIGH until the desired warmth is reached. Dry the pack, then wrap in a towel or insert into the fabric bag.

Boiling Method: Heat 3-4 liters of water to boiling, then remove from heat. Immerse the gel pack in the hot water for up to 10 minutes (reduce time if starting at room temperature). Remove, dry, and wrap in a towel or place in the fabric bag.
