Kinesiology Tape

The stretchy, elastic tape you see on a footballer's calf or across a netballer's shoulder does a different job to rigid strapping. Kinesiology tape is made to stretch with the skin and move with the body, not to lock a joint down. Straptor's rolls measure 50mm by 5m and come in black, blue, beige and pink, sold as a single roll or a box of 24 for the club kit.

What kinesiology tape is used for

Athletes, physios and trainers reach for kinesio tape when they want a tape that flexes with the body rather than holding a joint firm. It goes along muscles and around joints and stays on through training and games. Rigid tape and kinesiology tape do different jobs, and our rigid strapping tape range sets out where each one fits.
